The ESCO Miri Time-Lapse incubator is a desktop multiroom CO2/O2 incubator for time-lapse embryo monitoring with the total capacity of 84 embryos.

It is intended to provide an environment with controlled temperature, CO2 and O2 necessary for the development of gametes and embryos during in vitro fertilization (IVF) procedures.

This incubator is equipped with a built-in microscope and visual embryo development monitoring system that allows embryologists to detect developmental abnormalities such as direct cleavage, fragmentation and multinucleation, thus enabling them to select the best embryo for transfer.

The incubator is used for 120 hours from the time of fertilization to Day 5 of development.

Direct warming of the dishes in the chambers gives superior temperature conditions in comparison to conventional incubators.

The temperature in the compartment will remain stable up to 1°C even when the lid is open and will recover within 1 minute after the lid is closed.

The ESCO Miri Time-Lapse incubator has 6 completely separate culture heat chambers, each with its own heated lid and a room for one CultureCoin dish, with 12 completely separate PID (proportional-integral-derivative) temperature controllers, which control and regulate the temperature in culture chambers and lids.

  • for validation purposes, each compartment has a PT-1000 sensor built in, and the circuitry is separated from the unit’s electronics so it remains a truly separate validation system;
  • integrated pH measuring system;
  • air quality is continuously cleaned by HEPA/VOC filters, and UV light;
  • large and easy to read LED display;
  • the glass lid tops may also be written on, which is a great organizational function;
  • alarms via external alarm jack.
